Wheat and the China Study

The China Study was one of the largest population studies on nutrition ever done. And while no link was found between saturated fat consumption and cardiovascular disease, some interesting statistically significant correlations were identified for wheat. Consumption of this popular American "health food" was linked to increased incidence of cardiovascular disease as well as increased body weight, body mass index, and high blood pressure.
